Brianna Lyston dominates Razorback Invitational 2024, setting a new personal best and equaling LSU record in the Women’s 60m final.

On January 27, 2024, the track and field community witnessed an electrifying display of speed as Jamaica’s Brianna Lyston, the reigning World Under-20 200m champion representing Louisiana State University (LSU), triumphed in the women’s 60m final at the prestigious Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

In a breathtaking performance, Lyston clocked a new personal best of 7.07 seconds, a feat that mirrors the impressive LSU record set by American sprinter Aleia Hobbs. The competition was fierce, with Kalia Jackson of Georgia claiming the second spot with a commendable time of 7.20 seconds, closely followed by Grace Stark of Florida, securing third place in 7.21 seconds.

The Women’s 60m (Final) showcased the top-tier talent on display, and the results unfolded as follows:
