In a commanding display, nationally ranked Duncanville secured a resounding victory over previously undefeated North Crowley in the UIL Class 6A Division I semifinals, sealing their spot in the state finals.

In a showdown that left no doubt about their dominance, Duncanville delivered a masterclass performance against a formidable North Crowley squad in the UIL Class 6A Division I semifinals. The final score, a resounding 52-10, showcased Duncanville’s prowess and determination on the field.

First Quarter: The game kicked off with Duncanville making an early statement. Caden Durham powered through for a two-yard touchdown run, putting the Panthers ahead 7-0 with 5:36 left in the first quarter. Despite North Crowley’s efforts, the quarter ended scoreless for them.

Second Quarter: Duncanville continued to assert control in the second quarter. Caden Durham displayed his scoring prowess with a 23-yard rushing touchdown, securing his second score of the day and extending the lead to 14-0 at the 5:43 mark. The Panthers’ defense stifled North Crowley, leading to a successful drive that culminated in a 22-yard field goal by Jonathan Batres, pushing the lead to 17-0.

As the half progressed, Duncanville’s defense showcased its strength, holding North Crowley at bay. Tyren Polley’s interception set the stage for another impressive offensive play, as Durham notched his third touchdown of the day, this time from 16 yards out, making it 24-0 with 1:13 left in the half.

Third Quarter: The third quarter witnessed North Crowley getting on the scoreboard with a 30-yard field goal, making it 24-3 at the 8:47 mark. However, Duncanville responded emphatically. Caden Durham’s exceptional performance continued with a 56-yard rushing touchdown, extending the lead to 45-3 with 1:15 remaining in the quarter.

Fourth Quarter: As the final quarter unfolded, Duncanville’s dominance persisted. Freshman quarterback Maximus The Great Denson contributed to the scoring party with a 41-yard touchdown run, sealing the 52-10 victory with 3:10 left on the clock.

In a display of offensive prowess, defensive resilience, and cohesive teamwork, Duncanville showcased why they are a force to be reckoned with. With this convincing win, they advance to the UIL Class 6A Division I finals, leaving an indelible mark on their journey to championship glory.
