Despite an impressive rally, they were unable to seal the deal, succumbing to a 35-28 loss that leaves them at 4-5, with their bowl game prospects hanging in the balance.

The first half saw TCU trailing 20-7, but they showed their resilience by turning the game around in the third quarter, briefly taking a 21-20 lead. As TCU aimed for a comeback, their drive stalled in Red Raiders’ territory. Texas Tech seized the moment and covered 92 yards in just three plays, extending their lead to 35-21 with only 10 minutes left in the game.

The Horned Frogs made a valiant effort to narrow the gap to 35-28 with Trey Sanders’ 1-yard run and had a final opportunity to tie the game.
