In a resounding performance at Bryant-Denny Stadium, No. 8 ranked Alabama showcased its football prowess, defeating Chattanooga with a convincing 66-10 scoreline. The win marked the Crimson Tide’s 10th victory of the 2023 season, solidifying their dominance on the field.

Alabama’s offense was unstoppable, amassing an impressive 574 yards, with a season-best 315 yards gained on the ground – the highest rushing yardage since the 2022 game against Arkansas. The ground attack saw four Crimson Tide players, including Jam Miller (77 yards), Ty Simpson (78 yards), Jase McClellan (62 yards, TD), and Roydell Williams (52 yards, TD), collectively amassing 269 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe continued his stellar form, completing 13-of-16 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns before making an early exit in the third quarter. Receiver Jermaine Burton capitalized on Milroe’s precision, finishing with 105 yards and a touchdown on three receptions.

Defensively, Caleb Downs stole the spotlight with an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown, adding to his impressive stat line of seven tackles and a pass breakup. Jihaad Campbell led the Tide’s defensive effort with 10 tackles, including six solo stops and a pass breakup.

With this dominant performance, Alabama solidifies its position as a formidable force in college football, setting the stage for the remainder of the season.
